BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN OF MANITOBA (BPW)

You are invited to participate in an exciting opportunity to support the Celebration of the New Democrat and Conservative women MLA’s elected on October 4^th hosted by Business and Professional Women (BPW) Manitoba January 25^th, 2012, at the Fairmont Hotel.  This event will see men and women, coming together to honour and celebrate our women MLA’s.

Our theme” Celebrating Women’s Voices and Women’s Choices focus is to not only honour and celebrate our elected women MLA’s but to encourage and inspire women to play a vital role in the political system in Canada at all levels.  Speakers for this event are Rosann Wowchuk, former MLA for Swan River, and Shelly Glover, MP for St. Boniface.

BPW is an International Federation founded in 1930 with chapters in more than 80 countries around the world. Our BPW International Federation has Category I Consultative Status at the United Nations.

 In keeping with BPW’s mandate of “Working towards improving economic, political, social, wellness and employment conditions for women,” the net proceeds of this event will go towards Educational Scholarships and Bursaries for women.
